Description: The Ring of Ogham is a very dangerous and powerful technique. Created in the Old Times of the world before Ninjutsu, the Ring of Ogham is a channeling technique that focuses on the user in combination with his elements. To perform the technique takes much preparation but once created the ring can prove to be most destructive and overwhelming for those who don't know how to control it. The preparation for this technique starts with the drawing of five circles, going from a center point outward. Then like a compass the user will draw a series of lines and runes, each series of runes pointing in the direction of the poles, North, South, East, and West. Once this is finished the user will place four runic symbols between each of the pole points (North West, North East, South West, and South East). Unlike the previous runic lines, these four new runic symbols are singular symbols. Once completed with this part the user will inscribe the element into the center of the circle. The inscribed element will be the element that is channeled through the rings power and will allow the user total control of said element (this does not mean it can control other people's jutsu of the declared element because of the use of chakra within the jutsu. Also more than one element can be inscribed within the ring but it becomes harder to control the more elements are added). Those who create the ring must stay within the ring to be able to use its power. If the user steps out of the ring then the affects of the ring will stop and the user will have to perform the channeling again for the ring to once again activate(they do not have to recreate the ring again for it doesn't disappear, they merely have to start the channeling again).
An addition that can be added to the Ring of Ogham is the rune Halagaz. Halagaz is a powerful rune of binding that can be placed in the center of the rune that places bindment on the ring as well as the person inside of it. If the ring is activated when there is someone inside the ring then that person will not be able to leave the ring under any circumstances (Halagaz cancels all paths so there is literally no way to escape the ring if caught in it. Those caught in the ring can use their jutsu and even the ring if the ring has been prepared with the runes and symbols needed to activate the rings power of the elements. All that would be needed for this is for the person inside the ring to inscribe their element into the ring, however the ability to control the ring is extremely difficult for anyone who has not been able to study and practice the jutsu).
The Ring of Ogham can also be made before hand and then hidden with a special seal that disappears once the ring is activated (the user doesn't need to be standing in the ring to activate it but they must be standing in it to activate the channeling abilities of the ring. Both are separate activations). The only way to see the ring when activated is to have a special Kekkei Genkai. (Note: Even with a special Kekkei Genkai that allows sight the ring is still hard to see due to the fact that it is hidden by a seal. One must be very intuned and experienced with said Kekkei Genkai to be able to detect the ring.)
To activate the Ring of Ogham the user must know and understand the required phrase Beith-Luis-Nion. These words are the three significant letters in the Oghamic seals and runes. Once these words are said the ring will activate and becomes bond to the ground. Also any jutsu that is performed in the ring that is of the inscribed element will get a boost in power.
Effects and abilities of the Ring of Ogham: The effects that one gains while using the Ring of Ogham is the complete control of the elements. The element needs to be inscribed into the ring for the ring to amplify that element and allow the user to control it. (Example: If the element Earth is inscribed into the ring then the user fo the ring has total control over the earth. This allows them to bend the earth as they please and use the surrounding planet as their weapon. If Wind was the inscribed element then they would be able to create wind as they please and use it however they wanted. The same goes for the other elements but the user must have the elemental chakra ability or trait to use those elements.) While standing in the ring the user isn't bound to only use the rings power. They can also use their own jutsu, which gain a huge boost in strength as well as a reduction in chakra by channeling it through the ring. However if the user is knocked out of the ring or steps out of it then the affects of the ring stop and the user must once again step inside the ring and begin the channeling once more. Once activated the ring becomes bound and inscribed to the earth,w hich means the surface that it is inscribed on must be destroyed to be able to destroy the ring. If this happens then the user must then prepare another Ring of Ogham and activate it to be able to use its power again.
Halagaz: Halagaz Is a rune that is used for binding. If this is written in the center of the circle then anyone who steps into the circle won't be able to leave it by any means.(Halagaz cancels all paths so there is literally no way to escape the ring unless the entire Ring of Ogham is destroyed by either a strong inner disruption or some sort of outside interruption.)
