Characteristics

Looks: Rein looks like a typical 12-years old boy. He is average height, pretty thin (though he may also be considered a bit athletic), and looks fairly healthy at all times. Despite that, he prefers to hide most of his body and a part of his face underneath a dark blue shinobi suit and a black shawl. His eyes are green and his hair is dyed white (one of his clans habits. His hair collor was originally brown). He pretty much always carries his blade along with him on his back. The rest of his shinobi tools are carried around in a pouch strapped onto his right leg. His forehead protector however is not worn on his forehead, but instead strapped onto a black belt around his waist. He also wear rubber shoes but noone knows the reason for this.

Personality:Rein does not do things by halves. He is a very committed individual; always finishing a task he starts. If he knows he cannot complete a task, he will not even begin or attempt it. This attitude also translates into him hard-working attitude when training or on a mission.

As one might expect, Rein has little time for social events. He does have friends – close ones even – though they are admittedly few in number. Those who dislike him tend to stay well clear, his serious personality frightening them enough to keep them from voicing their dislike. His primary hate is boredom; he is always looking for something to do and cannot cope with an empty timetable. To this end, he is often rallying his close friends to go and train or explore.

It would be naïve to say or think that Rein is always a serious individual. As long as he is with company that he is comfortable with, he’ll happily chat, joke around and enjoy himself. That is, if it doesn’t involve anything he would consider ‘childish’.

Clan Name: Nakataka Clan

Kekei Genkai:The Nakataka Bloodline is a unique and mysterious one. Rien cells are canabalistic and virus-like, and when in contact with human flesh, merge with the host cells and devour them from the inside. This process is known as corroding. The process of corroding causes a target to lose strength and capability, though through mere physical touch alone, very little damage is done. It is when their cells are used in combination with ninjutsu, that the clan's true power is shown. By using ninjutsu to mass replicate their cells and manipulate them outside the body causing them to heal at a rapid rate. the user is able to attack and infect targets with his cells from a ranged distance and on a mass-scale. Virus-Cell infects are non-lethal, with most infections wearing off anywhere from a couple hours to a couple days, depending on the size of the infection. Death can only occur when there is a constant, prolonged exposure to the virus cell, or if the cells are being directed by ninjutsu to corrode vital parts. Even paralysis and other side effects brought on by what is known as 'Locust' infects go away when the infection dies. This KKg also allows them to be immune to all poison.

Clan History: Before the world of ninja and ninja techniques, the people that would become the Nakataka were persecuted against. Hated for their corruptive touch and inhuman features, the Nakataka were often treated as lepers and disease-bearers. They were exiled from every village they ever entered. On many occasions, militias formed to try and take out the Nakataka, none of which were ever completely successful. Hundreds of years passed, yet the Nakataka persistently survived, hiding in mountain ranges and abandoned forests, living like beasts amongst the jungles of the wild. It wasn't until the first ninja clans formed that the Nakataka left their hidden homes. With the seemingly supernatural becoming widely accepted, the Nakataka gathered together and named themselves as a ninja clan. Though very few knew actual ninja techniques at the time, they picked up on the trade quickly. While only having a general proficiency in ninja techniques, their unique bloodline allowed them to defeat enemies in subtle ways, most commonly through hand-to-hand combat and prolonged exposure to their virus-cells.

For 50 years the Nakataka clan thrived, when suddenly a genious amongst their ranks was born. Named Rin, the genious young man formed numerous jutsu which utilized their corroding cells in destructive techniques. Soon taking lead of the clan, Rin attacked several rival clans using his new styles of jutsu, decimating all he opposed. Rin's youth and inexperience betrayed him however, for the other clans in the area became afraid of the Nakataka's horrible ability, banding together and seeking to eliminate the clan altogether. Rin was the first one killed, followed by his entire guard and immediate finally in the dead of the night. As the multiple clans teamed against them, the Nakataka fled to the Rice country, where they chose to stay in hiding just as they had in the past. Knowing that too large of a Nakataka settlement always gathered too much attention, the families of the clan split up, each moving to a different country. The largest group of the clan remained in Wind Country for many years however, until the rise of Karasu.

Karasu, enthralled by the power possessed by the Nakataka, set to inhabit the body of one before learning that their special cells made it impossible. Upon performing a test on one of their clan, Karasu learned that their cells would eat away at his essence had it ever tried to possess a Nakataka, thus making them useless for his own purposes. Enraged that he could not have their power, he gathered a small troup and destroyed the Wind-country part of the clan, keeping only a few younglings for possible experimentation. These younglings were transported to some of his varous jails, where they supposedly grew up not knowing of their clan.

It was here that he learned how to control chakra to certain parts of his body, more specifically his hands and feet. He forced himself to learn how in order to overtake Dante in the class...to be the best. His mother taught him that to waste even a small amount of chakra would cause him to become weaker. It was also during this time, he learned of his aptitude for Medical jutsu.

Childhood Arc.
Near was born 25 years ago to two loving family members. His family was always rather kind to him and nurtured him correctly. His father taught him at a young age all about his KG, and the abilities he would be able to posess. Even before the academy, Nate studied diligently many aspects of ninja life, and At a very young age, Near entered the Ninja Academy. Near had absolute mastery over most academy jutsus in just months. All of Near's teachers were absolutely amazed at his incredible progress. Although much of his innate abilities in the academy came from his chakra control from, His Iq also proved a very useful tool in the academy. In fact, during the academy he took a standard issue Iq test, and at the age of 9 scored above 160. There was only one skill that he had any difficulty in: Taijutsu. Taijutsu was the only style of technique that he had any trouble mastering, but after a while even that was mastered to genin level. He advanced through the academy incredibly fast and graduated when he was just 9.

Genin Arc.
Near's father was really quite proud of near, and near valued this quite alot. Near was immediately placed on the most prominent genin team in the village. Near performed very well on his team, and contributed both to teamwork and his own individual skills. Most of his teammates were very jealous of him, and ignored him most of the time, except when on a mission, when teamwork was most important. As a genin, Near spent most of his time either training or hanging out with the few friends he had. During his time as a genin, Near developed 2 techniques; The 4 part encampment seal, which he created to help protect his clan's building, and Water release: Gunshot, for use on missions offensively with his teammate who used lighting techniques. Near's intelligence improved significantly as a genin, and his IQ shot up to about 180. Near's team participated in one of the first chuunin exams that were available. They all passed the written part easily, but the forest of death part was difficult. At least for near's partners. In the end, Near ended up carrying his two teammates to the castle in the middle, after Near single handedly stole a heaven and an earth scroll from another ninja team. Near passed the 1 v. 1 part of the exam easily, and became a chuunin at the age of 11.
