Having just walked a fair bit from Konoha's parks, he had now finally arrived at the Hokage's office. It wasn't exactly urgent, but he guessed the Hokage would want pretty much any information on the Akatsuki. Further more, he had other things to talk about. It would certainly be very interesting to meet the Hokage in person. He walked in front of the door towards the office and stopped abruptly, pivoting and turning himself exactly 90 degrees so that he was now exactly facing the door. He took one step, and knocked with his right hand, three times.

Knock.

Knock.

Knock.

Orito was not doing paper work for once, he had just finished. He decided a warm cup of tea would be nice so he made one and walked back to his room. Seating at his desk he spun around looking out the view of his window, looking down on the village. He sipped his tea looking out to the magnificent view.

"......."

Orito was breathless, he felt extremely calm. The village looked peaceful. He was suddenly disturbed by a knock on the door. He spun back around to the door, still sitting in his seat. "Enter..." he said in an emotionless tone.

((Well I'm just posting as largely as you, I have no problem posting this size. Its more relaxing than massive posts lol))

Shunsuu opened the door slowly, the creaking making a slightly disturbing sound. He entered the room calmly and casually as he slipped into the nearby seat opposite the Hokage. "Take a look at this Hokage-sama," said Shunsuu as he grabbed the letter from his pocket and placed it on the desk, "Apparently it's from Akatsuki. Although why they would drop off a letter in a park is beyond me. It seems a bit stupid, even for Akatsuki to do a stunt like that. Although, it seems their intentions are to lure a few genin away from Konoha with promises of power."

The outside of the letter read: Dear, Genin of Konohagakure no Sato. This letter present an offer to you, if you do not want this offer, please simply leave this letter and walk away and let another Genin find it. If you open this up, then you shall be required to come to the area disclosed and accept the offer

And inside the letter: Dear Genin. You have officially accepted the offer this letter has and are required to go to the location in this letter. I shall tell you right now, there was a seal on the envelop, by opening it, your chakra is being traced so you need to be ready to accept the offer. The offer is simple, I am offering you power. You will be trained under the Akatsuki, even if you do not wish to be part of the Akatsuki, you shall receive the training and teachings and after it is all finished, you alone shall decide what you want to do. Join Akatsuki or Stay with Konoha? But for now, you are to come to the Giant Bamboo Forest in the Grass Country. There we shall meet and begin the first test to see if you are truly worthy. Double cross me and you will regret it, ignore this letter after having opened it, and you shall regret it. Come

"You know of the Akatsuki?!" Orito asked. It was quite shocking to him that genin of the Leaf Village knew about the top secret criminal organization. Orito picked up the letter which had already been opened. He glanced at the genin through his sunglasses. "Why did you open this?" Orito asked in a firm voice as he begun reading the letter. The more he read the more he felt angry. He remained calm at all points though. Once he was done he placed the letter back on the table and sipped his tea once more. He signalled the genin to sit on the chair in front of Orito's desk.

"Where did you say you found this? How long ago?" Orito questioned in a calm yet firm voice. He had many things running through his mind. Why would the Akatsuki be so foolish to leave a letter in the Public Park for anybody to pick up and read? Orito himself could of found this letter. Why would the Akatsuki even come in the village? Lastly, what did they want with a strong genin?

"I've heard of them to say the least. Rumours spread easily but I don't know much more than the fact they're an organisation of S-ranked missing-nin," replied Shunsuu as he relaxed into the chair and faced the Hokage's glances, "As for opening the letter. I guess I was curious about the offer in it. Besides, apart from the glowing on the seal, it would've seemed like some sort of ordinary prank."

He paused for a while, for what he said to sink in, and then continued, "I found it in the public park today, it was in the centre of the park, propped up to a large rock. I was probably the first person to notice it, so it might've just been dropped off. I also saw a hawk in the sky that didn't seem native to Konoha. There could be a connection between the hawk and the letter. In any case, we now know that's his current location will probably be at the bamboo forest in the Grass Country. The information is invaluable for setting up a trap - or perhaps he'll come looking for me. I could meet him if you'd like, it would be a secret mission, and he shouldn't suspect a thing."

"I couldn't put you in such a danger. I'll send a message to Grass Country informing them of the Akatsuki's letter and I'll try to set up a trap of my own. Secondly I will possibly give you some Chuunin or Jounin escorts just for extra safety encase the criminal does return for you. But I personally don't think he or she would do such a foolish thing" Orito sipped his tea again. Before standing up. He picked up the letter and walked it over to a solid large volt.

Orito put in a code as the volt opened. He walked inside and opened another large solid metal case, opening it using another coded combination as pulled out a file that had all the information gathered about the Akatsuki. Orito placed the letter securely in the file before putting the file back in the case and leaving the volt, closing it behind him.

"What did you say your name was?" he asked sitting down and taking yet answer sip of tea.

"I'm Shunsuu of the Nara Clan," replied Shunsuu as he nodded. As a genin, he didn't have the skills to be able to fight against an Akatsuki and he would be in grave danger if the Akatsuki decided to carry out their threat. The possibilities of that were low however, and he didn't have a trace of worry. Akatsuki or not, at the end of the day, they were still people and people were surprisingly predictable and easy to manipulate.

"Also, I want to discuss something else. As you may or may not know, I've missed out on Chuunin Exam registrations, two times in a row now. So obviously I'm wondering whether there is some other way of becoming a Chuunin?" he asked cautiously while watching the Hokage take sips of the tea, "I believe, I easily have the abilities of becoming a Chuunin. I'll take on any test or mission or fight to do so."

Orito sighed happily of the taste of his tea, it was lovely. He glanced back over to Shunsuu and listened to him pleading what he could do to become chuunin. "Well, fight anybody you say?" Orito scratched his head thinking. "I want you to think about my next proposal Shunsuu" Orito paused letting out half an evil smirk.

"Do you think you could beat me to earn the rank of chuunin?" Orito said smiling, sipping his tea in delight.

Shunsuu was lucky that he didn't have his own cup of tea, because if he did, he was sure to have splurted it out in surprise at the Hokage's words. Instead, he coughed loudly and then regained his composure, only momentarily stunned by the shock. "Do I think I can beat you?" he said slowly, "As it stands, I have no chance. If I had to beat you to become Chuunin, then I don't think I'd be able to do it. Even if I could tactically outclass you, I'm still a genin and you surpass me in all basic ninja skills as well as having more and more powerful jutsu. It would be a little crazy for me to bother fighting you."

He paused for a little while thinking and then continued talking, "How about letting me fight in an exhibition match during the Chuunin Exams? Not as an official round, perhaps just let me spar the winner of the exams? It could be a little element of surprise to the local feudal lords and the Daimyos. I've heard that they even wager on fighters. I don't even mind if I don't become Chuunin, but I'd like to have the opportunity to spar a certain Yukiko." He knew there was little chance the Hokage would let him have a match in the arena, but it was worth a try atleast.

Surprising, the genin actually answered the question correctly. "You are truly a Nara..." Orito said smiling. "To say you would fight me for the rank of chuunin would be extremely foolish. Even the greatest shinobi must realize when they are outclassed, outsmarted or overpowered by an opponent and flee"

Orito was still delighted in the Genin's surprisingly wise answer. "Well the genin partaking in the Chuunin Exams are working extremely hard to make sure they are worthy of chuunin. Why do you believe you have the right to enter at such a late stage in the Exams?"

"Hah, it's true that the genin are working extremely hard to become Chuunin ," replied Shunsuu calmly, "But if it's a matter of the right to enter at such a late stage in the exams, then I can bet that I've been working just as hard as every one of those genin if not harder. I've trained 6 new jutsu all by myself even when I missed the exams, and if its a matter of hardwork, I've certainly put in the effort. Further more, two of the genin have essentially gotten forfeits in such a late stage - is it fair for them to progress to the next round with such ease? However, by entering the CEs, you can simply make it so that I do not hinder anyone else's chances - enter me in as a wild-card surprise. Even if they lose they still have a chance of becoming chuunin, but it still gives me the opportunity to impress and show my skills. It's a win-win situation the way I see it."

"Think about it Hokage-sama. It would add spice into the tournament. In real life, ninjas get surprised, not everything goes to plan and not all missions are what they think. Sometimes a C-ranked mission can turn out to be an A-ranked mission due to misinformation. It's happened before and it will someday happen again. A true ninja will be able to adapt, handle surprise and deal with the situation. As for me, I'll be that surprise, I'll be the unknown factor that they never prepared for, the opponent they never scouted or studied. Those who fight to win, may have to change their plans and fight to not lose. That's what I can bring to the table." As he finished speaking, he folded his arms and waited for the Hokage's reply.

The boy had an ego, but he had every right too. Every one of his words made sense. "Okay, you will work as hard as you can until the final match..." Orito paused. "When the final match is revealed and a clear winner is decided you will face the winner the next day to see the true winner, being that if you faced the winner straight after their match it would be completely unfair. This will be an absolute crowd pleaser and it won't be announced until the final match occurs. So you keep what you are training for a secret."

Orito smiled as he sipped his tea. "Now back to the issue at hand, which is the akatsuki. The Nara and Aburame clans are too of the most smart and strategic clans not only in the Leaf Village, but in the world. Because of us being one of each clan. I would like you to help me to devise a plan to capture the Akatsuki criminal who placed this threatening letter into our great village"

Shunsuu grinned slightly. This was an opportunity he would not miss for anything. But the Hokage was right, it was now time to get back to the issue at hand. "I'll help of course. First things first, we know that he was intending to travel to the Grass Country to meet up with any possible genin, although I'm no longer sure that would be the case. If it's true can he track my chakra, then he'll also be able to anticipate my actions to an extent. Whether he knows I've told you, the Hokage, about this, I have no idea, but if he doesn't, then we should lure him into a trap. Ultimately, the problem would again be this ability of his, I wouldn't be surprised if he's able to avoid ambushes and surprise attacks by having a jutsu or ability that can detect chakra."

"If you can find a way to set up a trap while avoiding detection, then it could work. Furthermore, we should be prepared to handle more than 1 S-ranked ninja. The letter was clearly written by 1 person and it seems that he was going to train any potential genin alone. Thus, chances are, he is currently working alone. However, there's always the possibility, he'll have a partner to help him and if that's the case, it'll make things harder. I don't think we have much information on this person or on Akatsuki in general, so almost any trap would not have a 100% success rate."

"There's therefore two important things we must do to ensure, we can capture this akatsuki criminal. First, and most importantly we must be able to lure him into a trap or alternatively, we find out about his location and try to capture him from there. Secondly, we must discuss how the trap should be configured, would it be a real pre-prepared trap, or would it be simply surrounding him and using jutsu? The Nara clan can of course use the Kage Mane jutsu to immobolise him or control him if he's caught and it's a deadly combo with the Aburame's whose bugs can consume chakra. Simply put, if we are able to plan this trap out effectively and it works, there's almost no chance for him to escape no matter how strong he is or how many S-rank jutsu he has. If you can't move and if you don't have enough chakra, you're as good as dead."

"Ahh But remember as you say his an S ranked Criminal we have no idea of his chakra source or chakra control." Orito finished his tea. "You are tuning yourself to be a great shinobi and a wise strategist Shunsuu" Orito smirked and begun thinking of a trap for the Akatsuki. Shunsuu was right, there would more than likely be more than one of them. Shunsuu probably didn't know that the Akatsuki worked in pairs of too. But Orito was well informed. He had the file of the gathered information of the Akatsuki sitting in his fault. But he wasn't going to share all this information with the young genin. There was information in that file that some of the Anbu don't even know about. Thats why its so securely locked up. If that information got into the wrong hands it could become dangerous for Konoha.

Orito leaned back in his chair as a mild warm breeze ran through the crack of the open window of his large office. The breeze was barely enough to lift up the sheets of paper on Orito's desk. It was silent for a while now. Only hearing the breeze. This was mainly because Orito was thinking and he liked not to be disturbed during this time. It was quite amazing that Orito was acting so calmly when he had just been informed that the S ranked Criminal Organization known as the Akatsuki had been inside the Leaf Village. But Orito was very confident in his abilities and his village. Even against top class S ranked criminals. Konoha and the Leaf Village would taste victory over time. Especially with the Sand Village on Orito's side.

Shunsuu didn't reply for a while, letting the Hokage relax and think. Once the short moment was over, he once more opened his mouth: "Right, that's true. The lack of knowledge on Akatsuki does give us a disadvantage of sorts but Konoha also has far more manpower. If we draw up a list of active Jounin, then we could form a trap that nobody could escape out of. It'd be hard to do and pointless to an extent but if we utilised every single Jounin and chuunin in Konoha effectively, not even Akatsuki could stop us. Currently we have the ANBU, but I think it's also wise to get a reserve squad of avaliable Jounin to allow Konoha to quickly and effectively counter any threats. With a reserve squad, there would be no need to spend time organising and mobilising with a ready-made squad." Still thinking, he got up from the chair and walked towards one of the windows in the Hokage's office, peering out to view Konoha. In particular he looked at the village entrance which seemed to be particulary busy, with a band of merchants going through. He frowned slowly as he caught sight of a giant axe that was carried by one of the men in the band of merchants.

"Merchants don't usually carry giant axes on their backs do they?" he said as he continued to watch the axe-bearing man who was now seperating from the rest of the merchants, having gotten into Konoha. The man quickly slipped from view, Shunsuu's line of sight being obstructed by Konoha's numerous buildings, "Might want to check that out Hokage-sama. It could be a dangerous person. Shows how lax security is around Konoha sometimes." He felt sorry for the man with the axe and he also felt a tinge of hilarity, the sheer concidence of catching a person trying to sneak into the village while taking about matters of security was quite funny. Although, it probably wouldn't be funny for the intruder.

Orito spun around in his chair, following Shunsuu’s movements. The boy peered out the window looking out inside. Orito remained sitting at his disk for the meantime, still thinking about how he could catch the Akatsuki. Orito turned back to the young genin noticing he was frowning, like he saw something alarming. “What disturbs you Shunsuu?” Orito asked standing up and walking to the window. Orito looked out searching for what Shunsuu could see. "Merchants don't usually carry giant axes on their backs do they?" Shunsuu said. Orito looked again, focusing. He noticed a mysterious man near the gates. He was dressed as a merchant with a big giant axe on his back. “It could be the man that had placed the letter in the park, he could already have known I had found out and is coming. It could be the Akatsuki!” Orito removed his Kage uniform quickly. He walked over to the door which lead to the balcony. Orito opened the door as a gust of wind blew across him. “I suggest you stay where its safe Shunsuu. Inform the guards downstairs about this man. Jounin or Anbu will be sent” Orito stood on the balcony and leaped over the bar down to a building below and began scattering from roof to roof quickly. Heading towards the mysterious man.

Shunsuu merely stood still quietly as the Hokage hurried away. He doubted the man was actually a member of akatsuki but there was always the possibility and now the Hokage had gone and rather annoyingly had told him to stay put. He counted in his head silently as the door closed with a loud bang and as a gust of wind blew into the office. He had no intention of staying where it was safe and he had no intention of informing the guards either. The situation was troublesome and now he would merely wait for the correct timing to leave.

Three.

Two.

One.

In an instant he moved quickly, tensing his muscles as he leapt, bursting out of the window of the office. Shards of glass flew out, some of them hitting Shunsuu but most of them merely falling onto the floor of the Hokage's office and making a distinctive sound. No doubt, the guards would check on that later but by then he would be long gone to confront the man with the big axe. As he fell, he pushed off the walls of the administration building with his legs, leaping towards the roof of another building. Landing hard but suffering no injury, he continued to move from roof to roof, following where the Hokage was going.
