Name: Rakshasa
Rank: E-S
Appearance: Rakshasa takes after a silver oni, and has a menacing, yet crazed look on it's face. The mask has long white hair. Once bonded to Ken the mask forms to his face, moving fluidly as his face does underneath. Black tribal tattoos form over cut or slashed areas, remaining permanently on the body of the summoner. Most noticeably are the cross shaped tattoos formed by the extreme version of seppuku, jūmonji giri, which the user must perform on themselves during the summoning.
Type of Summon: In order to summon Rakshasa, one must first wear the mask of Rakshasa at least once. If Rakshasa finds a wearer acceptable he will reveal himself to the wearer, offering a contract to the wearer. If the wearer accepts a tattoo forms high up on each temple. Only after is the method of summoning revealed to the wearer, in which the summoner must perform a type of seppuku called jūmonji giri, in which the user will make two slashes across their stomach, the first being horizontal, the second being vertical, together forming a cross. Pressing their hands in the blood, the user then must bring them up to his face, pressing them to the tattoos on his head and wiping the blood down across the face. This completes the summoning process, a puff of smoke surrounding the user, during which time the mask bonds to the face. As the smoke clears the open wounds of the summoner close and tattoos form across the previously open wound sites.
Species: Rakshasa is an oni or malevolent spirit. His form is shown as trapped inside a mask and the subsequent armor and weapons of his more complete forms.
Elemental Affinity: Rakshasa, as a malevolent spirit, allows it's user to tap into purely destructive or disastrous forms of chakra while summoned. This chakra can be released in uncontrollable destructive waves, or as a blight otherwise known as a disease cloud. As destructive chakra it possess kinetic force and heat which can be enough to set flames to structures, etc. As disastrous chakra it can weaken a person, make them sick, or in the worst case inflict them with lingering illness. Disastrous chakra is only available to the later forms or Rakshaka.
History: Rakshasa shows the history of the Ishikawa clan back to a period where the clan was living within the demon country otherwise known as Oni no kuni. The mask was a gift given to the Ishikawa clan for use in the upcoming Risshun festivel, marking the beginning of spring. Such festivals were often used as times to drive away the Oni. The mask was to be worn in a parade which was meant to help drive away the bad luck caused by the Oni.
As a clan more famous for their craftsmen then strong samurai, there was thought to be little danger in giving the Ishikawa clan such a dangerous item. With no way of destroying the mask, the people of the demon country had no other choice then to get rid of it. Knowning that the Ishikawa clan moved with the availability of work they knew the clan would soon leave and take the mask with them. Thus did the mask leave the demon country when the Ishikawa clan picked up and moved back to their native fire country when the work shored up. The clan continued to use the mask in their annual festivities, meaning that it was only a matter of time until someone worthy of Rakshasa would put the mask on.
The first to become bonded to Rakshasa was Ishikawa Kenji, the father of Ishikawa Ken. As a young man he donned the mask and become forever bonded to Rakshasa. During times of war the feudal lord called upon the able bodied men of the Ishikawa clan to fight for him. In the war that followed Kenji called upon Rakshasa, managing to obtain all the way up to the armor of Rakshasa by the end of the war. He became famous for his fighting prowess, known as The Demon Ishikawa for wearing an oni mask into battle. Kenji reported it was to scare his enemies, thus beginning the tradition of Ishikawa men wearing oni masks into battle.
Years later the clan moved to Konoha to fulfill a need for skilled weapon makers. It was there that the second person of the Ishikawa line became bonded to Rakshasa. As a child Ken often looked at his father's armor. Curiosity always did kill the cat, and Ken was overwhelmed by his curiosity as a child and put the mask on his face. The scheming Rakshasa knew this to be the son of the warrior he was bonded to and could see that he would one day grow to be big and strong like his father. He could also see the warrior spirit of the young Ken, and so whispered sweet promises of honor and glory in his ear. All of it would be his, and Rakshasa would teach him the ways if he would only agree.
Ken, wanting to be a great samurai like his father, agreed and thus became the newest bonded of Rakshasa. But when the spirit of the mask told him what he must do to summon forth the power of Rakshasa he was too scared. He wasn't yet man enough to seize the power offered up to him. He was still too young to be fearless like his father. But that wouldn't stop Rakshasa from influencing the boy as he grew older, molding him into fearless brute, the perfect body for Rakshasa's power to join with. A man without a meaningful family connection who would accept no better without the challenge of combat, this was Rakshasa's dream host realized.
Name: Kuchiyose no Jutsu - Spiritualism Technique
Rank: E
Type: Ninjutsu
Description: The variation of Kuchiyose no Jutsu used by Ishikawa Ken is vastly different then the average way to perform the jutsu. The jutsu is begun by using a blade to commit the act of jūmonji giri, the self disembowling performed by making two cuts across the stomach in a cross pattern. Ken will then press his hands to the bloody injury and bring his bloodied hands up to his face where he will press them to a tattoo on each of his temples before drawing his hands down to smear his face in blood. A puff of smoke envelopes the user at which point a variable number of armors and weapons will be summoned to Ken depending on his overall strength(as determined by rank). Every item up to the rank of jutsu his rank is capable of using would be summoned to him at this point. Any open wounds on the user close rapidly as the smoke clears, permanent tattoos forming over the spot of the wounds. Chakra use has no effect on what is summoned by this jutsu. Only a small amount of chakra is required to perform the jutsu, but the user must be willing to deal themselves a deadly injury and incur some blood loss before the wounds close, thus amounting for the chakra normally tributed to summon at higher ranks. Should the user complete the act of jūmonji giri and not complete the summon, only an agonizing death lay before them. The form of seppuku is intensely painful and takes great strength of will to complete.
