Kurai Sota [Complete] Empty
PostSubject: Kurai Sota [Complete]   Kurai Sota [Complete] EmptySat Sep 19, 2009 8:10 pm

General Information
Name: Kurai Sota
Age: 17
Gender: Female

Looks: A simple and modern girl says little about Kurai’s appearance. From her head to the last part of her fragile body, she portrays the image of a delicate porcelain doll. Soft complexion, dainty fingers, and the petite body which makes you want to want to be a better person upon seeing; everything looks perfect.

Sōki stands at a pitiful height of 5”6, half of which is covered by a thick layer of stunning blue locks, down to her lower back. Not even the most brilliant dye job can compare to the real thing. Bangs cover most of her forehead as they stop right at her eyelids. And her eyes. Oh, the eyes. Two perfect orbs, stained pool-blue somehow matching her overflowing hair, seem to pierce through your own heart. One can only wonder how Kurai ended up with such coincidental features.

A light coloured kimono, one after another basically describes the girl’s clothing style. Having detested the idea of pants and separate holes for each leg from her youth years, Kurai has made the firm choice to dress in her many kimonos, aiding in weak protection and warmth. The tattoo of a small lily flower is visible when the first layer of kimonos is off. Not many have seem the exotic image, due to the sole fact that Kurai prefers to keep her clothes on.

Personality:
A quiet, harmless girl, with no means of causing any type of havoc is the first thought to the simple-minded when having caught a first glimpse. They aren’t entirely wrong, as Kurai plays the good-girl role significantly and with pride. She has realized that following rules, as opposed to working around them, were much easier, as if she was able to determine left from right. Kurai seldom over-thinks herself, and tends to go with her own beliefs, which may not be the best in all situations.

Innocence and pride capture the basics of Kurai's personality. She has grown to accept some things were meant to happen, and some just never really worked out. Like how her hair will never be honey-mist auburn, or the fact that she may reached the peak of her growing state, height-wise. However, it hasn’t stopped her from blocking off the fair-sized optimism in her heart. Emotional changes, caused by uncontrollable hormones are a different story.

Kurai had developed her ongoing trust issues at the age of seven. Some might call it paranoia, but to Kurai, it seems perfectly normal. At times, showing her true feelings are difficult, and they do not aid her in any type of emotional conflict. Safe to say, Kurai has boundaries, and does not wish to damage her dignity.

Background Information

Rogue Arc

Born on the third day of the third month, Kurai’s birth was quite normal. Kept in the birthing room, she spent most of her infancy in solitude, only having the same round of nurses come and go as they performed their daily routines. Eyes were always drawn to the blue-haired baby and some were lucky to have a quick look at her matching orbs.

Taken home, Kurai was introduced to a new type of people in her pre-made room. Every last one of them had the same baby doll eyes, and as fingers ran through their hair, the feeling was comparable to running your hands through silk strands. These creatures wore clothing too complicated to explain, but through the child’s eyes, they were perfect. Surrounded by a dozen of these dolls, Kurai would be found in her own fortress of solitude for the remainder of her child years.

She lacked real live breathing friends. The ones you could scream at, and expect them to scream back. With her dolls, it was easy to get her way, since there was no competition. Realization came, as Kurai knew she had to stop living in a fantasy world. For someone having spent their growing years with inanimate objects, Kurai was able to pick out right from wrong, as easy as that. Kurai hadn’t accounted for the fact at the difficulty of making human friends, which did bring upon her some obstacles. At the end, Kurai succeeded.

Couple years have passed and Kurai has significantly grown into a maturing young girl. Strangers eyeing her to determine whether her hair was real or not was a fact she lived with, but some were hard to accept, such as the rounds of hormonal boys.

Academy Student Arc

Kurai’s parents didn’t hate her. They had decided to throw her into the ninja academy, with the sole reason to protect their only daughter. Fully understanding Kurai’s trouble with person-to-person interaction, she could only question their reasoning for their rash actions. Her optimism refused to show up in Kurai’s mind during her sulking days. Kurai was constantly kept in a safe bubble, so despite her knowledged brain, shinobi and sneaky ninja people were breaking news.

Anything related to learning was taught by a woman named Kiyomi, the only teacher Kurai agreed to work with. Kiyomi taught her all the basics, and noted her true potential. With the required training, henges and clones were produced to perfection. Kiyomi also noted Kurai's chakra intake, versus her usage as she used more than the required amount.

The youngest to enter, the youngest to pass. Producing a sufficient amount of clones, Kurai received her own hitai-ate and passed the exams. Kiyomi had informed the officials of Kurai's chakra usage, which got them re-thinking their options. Was safe defined as granting access to a young girl to the many wonders of the ninja world with a high chance of death?

Genin Arc

Before Kurai was about to be assigned to another team, Kiyomi had arranged to train Kurai for her self. She was able to know Kurai wasn’t mentally fit for a team environment. Nothing had managed to hold Kiyomi back when entering Sia into the chuunin exams. Although Sia had the upper hand with her one-on-one training sessions with Kiyomi, not to mention her own abilities, one could never be too sure when insanity would strike. Chakra loss was also a problem, as Sia continued to use more than the required amount. Her strengths matched her weaknesses, sometimes being a bad thing.

Much to, everyone’s, especially Kiyomi’s, surprise, Kurai had passed the exams, and became a chuunin. Perhaps when realizing the importance of such an event, put a hold on the childish attitude? Kurai used her abilities wisely, careful not to get carried away, or to show off. As well, her chakra control showed improvement. Many officials weren’t too keen on giving her the chuunin title [the same who had disagreed during genin promotions], but it was always that one vote that threw off the balance.

Chuunin Arc

Her training sessions with Kiyomi continued. Although suiton was seldom taught in Suna, the nice mix between fuuton and suiton would work well. She was content with the training, and showed more signs of progress. Kurai trained secretly with her jutsus, also practicing speed. Kiyomi didn’t need to be informed about this, thus Kurai kept this from her. However her sessions with Kiyomi continued, as they returned to focusing on the elementals. The private lessons seemed to have paid off, seeing as Kurai's chakra usage was near perfection.

The training process took approximately two years. After the interval of time, Kurai was then promoted as a jounin for Suna. Being categorized in a group with a pack of oldies seemed to be both an insult and a compliment to Sia. The other jounin members shunned her, mostly due to her youthfulness, but the hint of jealousy seemed to be another fact as well. Some officials grew insane on their own, when hearing that “girl” was promoted to such a high rank in their village, but good to say, they were persuaded after seeing Kurai's true potential.

Jounin Arc

Half a dozen days passed after the promotion for Kurai. Spending her time indoors and away from civilization, she ignored her surroundings for the most part. News seldom came, as Suna ran slow for the time being.

RP Sample:

Quote :
There definitely was boiling anger. Then again, anger always boiled, and depending on the highness of said boiled anger, a person can resort to such stupid acts. Sometimes regrettable, but regret wasn’t able to make a way into Sia’s head. Perhaps it was too weak to survive the heated temperature of her insides, or knew its efforts were futile to even think she’d admit to regretting anything.

It would be reasonable to think her hot-head, along with her unusually high body heat would somehow melt the surrounding snow covering her whole body, but the mass amount made it impossible to do such a possible act. Despite the snow’s colour, everything she could lay her tired eyes upon was dark, except for small holes above her head [so she thinks] which shone upon her, a lighter darkness, compared to the rest.

Everything, up to the meeting was memorable to some extent, but all events leading afterwards were too vague to remember. Perhaps she’d hit her head on a rock before tumbling down into a heap of snow? There were many reasons as to why she was placed in this “hole,” and the best situation was to get out before hypothermia wanted to visit. For someone with such unbalanced anger issues, Sia could determine what to do next, as if it was easy to figure out left from right.

Standing on legs was hard enough, let alone having to walk. Every inch of her body was extremely cold; maybe the anger didn’t boil hot enough. Her strides could be defined as something an entertainer would do, but funny, or not, she was getting somewhere. The area wasn’t someplace she knew well, but Sia was able to get herself inside the headquarters, as the trip had aided her in defrosting of her bones.

There was no time to announce her entry; she could barely speak. Her vocal chords seemed raspy, having silenced them for who knows how long. She was regaining her strength as her body seemed to adjust to the correct temperature. Making her way to, what seemed to be like the individual rooms, Sia mindlessly stepped in, realizing her guesses were wrong.

The scene before her looked like an image from the “old” days; if she’d acquired black and white vision, it would look like something ripped off from a western movie, guessing the cowboys back then knew how to read, she thought, as her gaze fell upon the heap of books, collecting dust on the table. The bar was so coincidentally placed, and with her brain not working up to its full capacity, she could only imagine she was being punked. However, one dominant image shook all silly possibilities out of her head.

Sia couldn’t tell if he’d seen her, or was just trying to avoid her. Knowing he was the only one who knew all of the answers to her ongoing questions, Sia walked over to him, standing behind his chair as she placed her hands over his shoulders. She wondered if he’d be able to feel her cold hands through his armour.

“So, master,” Sia began, hoping he’d notice the impatience in her voice, “If you turn around, you’d see one of your own members, drenched in water, soaked to the bone, and freezing cold.” Although the fact that he was responsible for this was highly doubtable, Sia wasn’t taking any chances. “I was in a hole,” she started again, with no signs of backing off, “And covered in snow, if you already haven’t noticed. And for the duration of that time, I was probably unconscious, or asleep. I go with the first, seeing as how I’m not capable of sleeping for so long. But then again, who exactly knows how long I’ve been in there?”

Sia was growing more and more frustrated by each word, and wondered if she’d lose it in front of her own boss. Hoping it wouldn’t come to that, she spoke more calmly. “If it was for a while, surely you would’ve noticed my absence. I hope I do have the tiniest place in your head occupied. I’m just wondering why you haven’t come for me, or even had other members to find me.” She knew she was skating on thin ice with her last comment.

“After being in a hole for a while, my frustration did possibly grow a few more times, and I just want answers.”
